Letting go hurts, but knowing someone is headed to Heaven helps ease the pain. My dad is still in the transition phase of going to Heaven. As he moves from the life to the next, the pain increases as well as the beauty. Life is truly a mosaic of grace. We take broken pieces and put them together to create something beautiful. If it wasn't for the broken pieces, there wouldn't be a full mosaic. It is also like stained glass windows. Each individual piece provides one color, but all the pieces together provide something stunning and breathtaking to look at and stand under. My dad is still working toward his new home.
